PSA regarding COVID-19: Many family, friends and patients have asked about COVID-19, and what to do/what not to do...Stay calm...Worry, stress and anxiety only lower your immune system. If you are healthy, you are less likely to get the virus, or you may experience mild symptoms. If you are elderly or have a chronic lung condition (asthma, COPD), chronic health condition, or you are on immunosuppressive drugs (predinisone, chemotx), symptoms can be severe to life-threatening.... I think it is wise to be concerned, think ahead and take preventive measures. Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 secs, and in between your fingers! Use hand sanitizer only when soap is not available Over use of sanitizer can create Super bugs.
