Powerful vigil and action at the border yesterday on behalf of children and families seeking asylum. A pre-recorded message from Rev. Traci Blackman was read on the US side, while a family about to apply for asylum was prayed for on the Mexican side of the wall. Children seeking asylum read statements.

We'll be acknowledging Indigenous People's Day this Sunday (Oct. 11th). That calls to mind the longstanding battle over Oak Flats referred to in this article. I'll post a link to a brief video summarizing the issue for anyone's who's interested in speaking out (through social media, voting, etc.) on behalf of the San Carlos Apaches.... https://www.phoenixnewtimes.com//despite-australia-atrocit
