This is a photo of one of our custom heavy shower installs, this is 1/2 inch thick glass. It is a neo angle install, (3 glass sides enclosing 2 walls) The tile was routed 1/2 inch to accept the glass it is is flush to the wall and floor no u-channels were used. Notice the transom glass above the door, that ties the side glass together. Heavy duty glass to glass adjustable hinges were used for the door. The owner and designer is Jerrod Ahlers and the awesome install was done by Greg Sposit. Nice job Greg, and Jerrod too!
